Bucks in Six

Like what I have scribbled in a previous post, almost everyone I know wanted the Phoenix Suns to win the NBA Finals and I on the other hand were cheering for the opposing team, the Milwaukee Bucks. The Best of Seven series started with a 2-0 lead by the Valley Team. With the rate they were playing, I only wished for a No Sweep. Then the Deer team bagged games 3 and 4 respectively, it was still a hard climb, to win four straight games knowing how Booker and the rest were damn good in outside and paint shots.

Nonetheless, the Bucks proved how awesome they were in transition as they never faltered and maintained their calm and clever poise on court. Crucial steals and clutch shots from Holiday and Middleton, no-nonsense defense by Tucker and of course open pores, Giannis' silent yet powerful leadership and dominance on court led the Milwaukee green team for a homecourt win. The Greek Freak scored 50 points for the city's NBA ring after 50 years. What an epic fate!!!

The vampire lover aptly predicted "Bucks in Six"!!! He was damn right. Hmmm, maybe I underestimated his hoops knowledge.:)

Now I miss NBA on boob tube, no more basketball to watch. For the meantime, I stay glued for Tokyo Olympic games. Fight, USA!!! Laban, Pilipinas!!!!

A buddy told me I should have made a bet as I was vocal from the playoffs my gut feel that 2021 is Milwaukee's year. However, the last time I made a bet on a Finals series, 20$ was not only the one at stake, my heart and life too. So no bet was made this time.

Thank you Bucks for making my heart scream with delight. You proved my choice right!:) Congratulations to all especially to Giannis who completed and accomplished Kobe's challenge to him. I will keep on watching NBA as long as there are players and teams that can impress and entertain me.

NBA 2021. Champions. Bucks.
