Surprised!!

On Tuesday, while doing the headcount for the clinic Holiday party, families and "plus ones" included, I mentioned it's ME alone. John may bring Justin. Then Princess casually uttered "Why Michelle? Won't you bring your boyfriend with you?"

People in the room including me answered in unison "Who???" And she mentioned your name with conviction. Huhhhh????!!!!!

In a rare circumstance, I was dumbfounded. After like 45 seconds I finally responded, " I don't know how to answer to that."

What made her say that? What do they see? Now I have to be more cautious and controlled when you are around, does my non-verbal language give me away? I don't wanna assume, I am attuned in the real world, shutting the fantasy temptations. You don't do and say anything so I conclude there is NOTHING.

On a lighter note, I find it funny as I am unaware that I have a boyfriend. What is more insane, my "boyfriend" is totally clueless and doesn't even pursue me an inch!!!
