Tied with Tennis

At this very minute, Nadal and Medvedev are playing the US Open Men's championship match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. Aside from basketball, tennis is the other sport that I follow closely. I keep attuned with tournaments especially the majors. It is in my short bucket list to watch Wimbledon in England.

I have zero knowledge on how football, baseball/soccer, etc. are played but with tennis, I am aware of the rules and scoreboards. It has been more than two decades that I keep close watch of this sport. Its elegance is what attracted me, the women wearing diamonds and pearls while serving. Martina Hingis is my first girl crush.:)

I continue to wish to learn how to at least serve and volley before  I reach my golden age. For the meantime, I shall continue to enjoy watching the vets and millennials show their power and endurance in hitting the green ball.
