Life is truly full of surprises, in an unexpected twist of events, I found myself being introduced to the world of dialysis wherein I had zero experience. MedicalSurgical, OB Gyne, Psychiatry and Academe were the areas I am most comfortable and I must say, have ample exposure. As dazed as I was, my fate's early rough roads quietly led me to a smooth destination . Here I am now with God's grace and Mama Mary's intercession, I am starting to love and embrace a whole new Nursing universe. I know I still have a bunch to learn, the journey is miles ahead. There will be bumps along but I am ready . Grateful and humbled for this achievement.
The best things in my work???
- We have fun.. we laugh , sing and dance with the patients as our audience.
- Each day we are at the clinic, we re reminded of one significant purpose - as stated by our patients- we make a difference in their lives.
- Sunday is an OFF day!!! Yayyy to Eucharistic celebrations!!:)
- Generally, we all work in a harmonious manner.
- I have the best clinic manager who always allow me to go home to PH to visit my Mom.
- My teammates are also my advisers and friends.
- My patients call me Songbird, The Singing Nurse!:
Work. Play. Care.
