Danish For A Day

 We the Gorgeous Travelers (our mommas told us we were,LOL) spent a day and a half in the Danish capital of America- SOLVANG!! And it is in the state of California coz seriously my Golden State has everything, I keep track of its places, known and hidden that I wish to explore and experience.

I always say it is not actually the places and scenery that count, it is the company and people I am with that truly matter. I love these two. We love one another like sisters.

Colours Everywhere

 

" Every colour, every hue is represented by me and you. Take a slide in the slope in this kaleidoscope world."

As I think of what to scribble for this post, these words from my idol Francism suddenly popped on my head. On my sixth year here in US, I finally had an "eyeball" with the Seven Magic Mountains in Nevada.:)

Life itself represents the various colours of the "mountains", each color identified by experiences and events. As everybody knows, my most favorite colour is PINK. It is happiness, sassy, unhidden and alive. Pink is Love.

Masked and Vaxxed

 With the rate news and numbers are going, the virus continuously  refuses to leave. So let it be, until the chosen time arrives that it will vanish or humankind will come to friendly terms with it through much less significant mortality and morbidity.

For the meantime, let us do our part by wearing masks properly and obtaining complete vaccine doses. I'd like to believe, we are still much stronger than this not-so-welcome virus visitor.

My Behs

They stand by my side when times get hard. They make me laugh (I thought G would even give birth prematurely)when I didn't want to smile anymore. They know the inside out yet never judged me and made feel an outsider. They are not merely acquaintances, they are friends coz we do not merely bind by happy times. We share each other's woes, worries, happiness and dreams.

My "Babies"

 

My heart is full. I missed these two sooo much. In a number of occasions, they were mistakenly identified as my kiddos coz people say they look so much like me. They remain to be sweet to their Tita and I am grateful to kiss and hug them again. Chewy is in a BSN Program and Mykela is officially a teenager. Yet for me they will always be my little bundles of joy. Their loving and caring hearts, innocent and thoughtful souls, and funny and cute thoughts make me realize that my life is simply where it is meant to be at the moment.
