Grammar Piss-offs

I am not apologetic when I say that it affects me when I read and see these terms used improperly and interchangeably. I am kinda TO (turn-off.) So I posted these on my FB and IG accounts and I hope people paid attention to them.

I am not an English vocabulary and grammar master but these words were taught to everybody in grade school. So no excuse to be wrong!:)

Missing The Soft Set Curled- Hair

 

One of the many effects of pandemic to me is I unknowingly and spontaneously miss random things of the past. Like this mane style of mine I had six years ago (that long already) when I was still in Philippines and I was at my happiest with Mamang.

THE main man Alex Carbonell himself told me the curls would last at most two months given my hair type. A very pleasant surprise materialized though, it lasted until I came here in California on May 2015.:)

I am enjoying my Covid cut at the present. If and when fate and vaccine permit, I want to have my soft- set curls again from Studio Fix by Alex Carbonell when I fly home to PH someday. I pray soon.

The Mass Must Go On!!

As the census continues to surge and fail to reach a plateau, the state of California announced new orders again. One is refraining worship services to be held indoor. Amongst all the negative and ugly effects of the pandemic , one that truly tugs me was the closure of churches. When they reopened sometime in June, I cried tears of wonder to set my feet again inside my place of worship.

THE Mass must go on!! My parish decided to hold the Eucharistic celebrations outdoors. Clever idea. A greater number of people may attend now and safer for all because of the air ventilation. We however continue to follow social distancing and the proper wear of masks.

No reason to complain. God is good!!:)
